On December 20th, the final film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy officially hits the big screen. Fans around the world are counting down the days. Some are even looking to place bets on the movie’s outcome. Star Wars 9 betting odds are now available online and are offering some fantastic opportunities to win big.
Not all of these odds are on how the movie unfolds. Some are about how the critics view the film and how it performs in the box office. Let’s look at what’s available right now!
The Final Chapter In the Star Wars Universe Is Revealed This Month
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to bring a massive cultural boon for nerds (like me) and a massive amount of money for Disney. The Last Jedi offers longtime fans plenty of intrigue after the happenings of The Force Awakens and will determine if the newest trilogy will continue to mirror the originals. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Odds: Odds that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be the highest earning movie of 2016: 2/1. It’s surrendering a good chunk of its earnings to 2015. Odds that the film will be the highest-grossing movie of all-time by the end of 2016: 1/5. It should catch Avatar by the time 2017 rolls around. Odds that Rey is.
The Star Wars franchise is one of the biggest and most lucrative in the history of film. The first movie came out in 1977. Since that time, several prequels and sequels have been made. A number of popular spinoffs have come out over the years, too.
The “modern era” of the Star Wars film franchise began in 2015. It kicked off with “The Force Awakens,” which took place years after the events of “Return of the Jedi.” It was one of the most successful movies of all time, generating more than $2 billion at the box office worldwide.
In 2017, “The Last Jedi” came out in theaters. Unsurprisingly, it was a huge hit. Despite mixed reviews from critics and fans, this movie managed to bring in $1.3 billion.
This month, the final film in the modern era finally comes out. Officials working on the film have done a great job keeping its details under wraps. No one knows exactly how this movie will play out.
Star Wars is even getting breaking into the streaming game. “The Mandalorian” is already a massive hit on the Disney+ streaming platform. Odds for this show can be found online, too!
